Day 1 — Toronto

Transfer within Greater Toronto, including Pearson International Airport, to your hotel, located in the heart of Toronto close to restaurants, theatres and Young Street. Overnight Toronto.

Day 2 — Toronto

Explore Toronto with the Grand City Tour experiencing the sites, sounds and history of this multi cultural city. Overnight Toronto.

Day 3 — Toronto / Niagara Falls

Travel from Toronto on a motor coach for a breathtaking full-day tour through the orchard-laden Niagara Peninsula to Niagara Falls. Experience the Maid of Mist boat ride (when operating), enjoy a buffet lunch, and see the Whirlpool Rapids, Floral Clock, and Niagara-on-the-Lake. Overnight Toronto.

Day 4 — Toronto / VIA Rail / Quebec City

Transfer to Union Station to board VIA Rail's Business Class service to Quebec City. Transfer to your Quebec City hotel. Lunch and dinner served at your seat on the train included. Overnight Quebec City.

Day 5 — Quebec City

A day to explore the charming Old City with slant-roofed granite houses, narrow lanes, churches, monuments, and parks. Its historic fortified walls, the continent's only ones north of Mexico, have earned Quebec City a UNESCO World Heritage Site designation. Ninety-five percent of Quebecois speak French, and they blend a sophisticated sensibility with a hearty frontier attitude. A city orientation tour is included. Overnight Quebec City.

Day 6 — Quebec City / Via Rail / Montreal

Continue to explore the city this morning before transferring to the classic rail station and taking Business Class to Montreal. Transfer to your hotel included. Lunch at seat included. Overnight Montreal.

Day 7 — Montreal

A day to explore Montreal, the world's second largest French speaking city. Visit the Old Port waterfront, Underground City, shops, art museums and endless cafes. Other attractions include; Notre Dame Basilica, St. Joseph's Oratory, Biodome, the Botanical Gardens. A three hour tour is included. Overnight Montreal.

Day 8 — Montreal / VIA Rail / Toronto

Transfer to the train station and your mid morning departure to Toronto using VIA Rail's Business Class. Your holiday concludes at Union Station, Toronto. Thank you for travelling with John Steel Rail Tours.

  • Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of $250 CDN per person deposit.
  • A complete self-guiding itinerary and vouchers are provided after receipt of full and final payment, due no later than 60 (sixty) days prior to date of Day 1 of your itinerary. (VISA, Mastercard, AmEx, bank draft)
  • All monies paid are non-refundable. Ask your John Steel Tour Consultant about travel insurance, its coverages, conditions, and limitations
  • If applicable, pack an overnight bag for all overnight rail journeys. Safety rules limit carry-on luggage.
